"Ginormous", a combination of the words " enormous" and " gigantic," is now in the English dictionary along with 100 others referring to pop culture and technology.

Dictionary publisher Merriam- Webster officially defined the word as " extremely large: humongous" in Merriam- Webster's collegiate Dictionary.

"Ginormous" appeared in Merriam- Webster's 2005 survey of popular words not found in the dictionary.
